David started his Financial Services career in 1989 with the Mutual Group where, as a branch manager, he learned the business side of the industry. After almost a decade, David contracted ‘startup fever’ and left the Mutual Group to start Sporg.com, an Online Registration Software company which was sold in 2008.

While looking out for his next adventure, David reached out to his old friend – John Tomlinson. Very quickly, a partnership was agreed to and David joined Tomlinson Alliance Group Financial as an Advisor and in addition, charged with growing the organization while keeping to the mandate of “people first”.

Prior to his foray into financial services, David played professional soccer for 17 years and is proud to have represented Canada 56 times at the international level, including playing in the 1984 Olympic Games and the 1986 World Cup.

Outside of work, David loves to spend time hanging out and traveling with his wife Suzanne, daughter Rachael, and son David as well as coaching youth soccer and golfing.
